About Gottex Solutions Services
Gottex Solutions Services (“GSS”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gottex Fund Management Sarl. GSS is:
• A specialist hedge fund work-out and advisory service focusing on (i) portfolio analysis and risk review, across all risk types (e.g. valuation, operational, style drift, market, liquidity and financing); (ii) the determination of a forward strategy for hedge fund investors, including remaining invested vs. exiting the hedge fund space, either in existing or new investment structures, (iii) assistance for interim management, work-outs and litigation; and
• An outsourced portfolio investment and analysis platform: The platform (i) supports the operation of a hedge fund investment program (operational and legal set-up of investment vehicles, transition to new vehicles, negotiation of financing and foreign exchange hedging if applicable, interface with service providers), (ii) provides portfolio analysis and risk monitoring services including portfolio construction, valuation, performance, market risk exposures and liquidity for both hedge funds and long only strategies; and (iii) offers tailored access to Gottex Fund Management’s research capabilities.
Job Purpose
The individual will be part of the “Development” group. The Development team is responsible for the delivery of the Integrated Portfolio Monitoring Services to GSS’s clients. It includes development and maintenance of web sites, various financial applications, interfaces with external providers or internal systems. The individual will participate in different on- going projects in one of listed areas.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintain and support the existing internal applications code
• Develop new modules of web sites in ASP.NET and C#
• Develop new applications or new modules in C# or C++
• Participate in other special projects as directed by management
Skills and Competencies Required
• Strong SQL and VBA skills
• Strong C++, C#, ASP.NET knowledge
• Superb analytical skills and detail oriented.
• Good knowledge of financial markets and hedge fund industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a small dynamic work environment.
• Strong self-motivation and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without the need for continual supervision.
• 2 years of experience in development is required
